Little House on the Prairie Pilot Episode 2 Hour Premier

Many challenges and adventures are in store for the Ingalls family in this two hour pilot premiere of “Little House on the Prairie.”
The Ingalls family begins their adventure in search of the perfect piece of land to homestead. Charles (father), Caroline (mother) and their children (Mary, Laura, and Carrie), along with their dog, Jack, leave the woods of Wisconsin to build a better life on the plains of Kansas. The family has a rough journey, but their spirits are not broken by their difficult travels.
Charles Ingalls finds the plot of land he has envisioned settling and the family works hard to establish a home. They meet Mr. Edwards, their “rough around the edges” bachelor neighbor, who wins the friendship and love of the whole family with his willingness to help the Ingalls settle on the prairie.

The family experiences many hardships and joys from building their own cabin and becoming acquainted with the local Indian chief to spending their first Christmas with Mr. Edwards. Through it all their courage to pursue a more prosperous life is not shaken.
